Our Mission 2030 For Universities:
2/3 of all European Universities should publicly acknowledge entrepreneurship as their third pillar, alongside research and teaching.
As we embark on our journey, our inaugural study has delved into the efficiency of European universities in fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems. In collaboration with Redstone, one of Europe's leading venture capital firms, and the European Startup Network (ESN), we developed the “University Startup Index - 2023.” This initiative illuminates pathways for leveraging academic innovation for societal benefit.

Prof. Faems will share insights into his journey, WHU's unique approach to education, and the innovations driving success in research, teaching, and entrepreneurship.
Founder & CEOMichael Brehm is the founding partner of Redstone, one of Europe's leading and most active venture capital firms. Considered a pioneer in the European Startup Ecosystem, he has played key roles in building numerous technology companies as an entrepreneur such as StudiVZ, Rebate Networks, Atheneum Partners and most recently, i2X.
Head of DataAnurag has worked with diverse brands such TATA and Redstone, while also being significantly involved with socially relevant initiatives ranging from DEI and education to history preservation. With an MBA from Esade and Michigan Ross, as well as a stint at the Ford School of Public Policy, he has been recognized among the 100 most inspiring MBAs globally.
